What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?
plenty of things…

Did you keep your New Year's Resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn’t consciously make any resolutions which is weird for me lover of all lists, but there were certain things I wanted to work towards… yes… I’m all over resolutions for next year… ready and rearing to go…

Did anyone close to you give birth?
um not really… proximity wise not at all thank god…

Did anyone close to you die?
people very close to me lost very important people in their lives…

What countries did you visit?
Australia…

What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I guess quitting smoking… and probably finishing a painting cause I suck at that…

What was your biggest failure?
not doing enough… not living enough… hurting people close to me…

Did you suffer illness or injury?
nothing major… typical bout of the flu… some throat rabies… torn calf muscle…

Whose behavior merited celebration?
two of my closest friends had the hardest year of their lives and they are still standing… I think that’s to be celebrated… strong strong women…

Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
my own…

Where did most of your money go?
um food, alcohol, magazines… all of it went nowhere it should have… damn it!?!?

What did you get really, really, really excited about?
pretty much everything… I get excited about the littlest things which nearly leaves me in a permanent state of excitement… (not a bad way to be)

What song will always remind you of 2008?
no air…

Compared to this time last year, are you:
a) happier or sadder? much of a muchness…
b) fatter or skinner? fatter… haha the only way was up really…
c) richer or poorer? possibly richer by maybe $5? who knows I’m not much better or worse off I’m afraid…

What do you wish you'd done more of?
saving, surfing, writing, painting, training…

What do you wish you'd done less of?
wishing… too much time was spent on wishing things were different in some way instead of just enjoying things for what they are…

How do you plan to spend Christmas?
oops I’m doing this too late! was spent waking up in welly flying to gis and then straight out to the beach chilling with strawberry daiquiris… too much food… oh and too much beer…

Did you fall in love in 2008?
with a person? …no. with all sorts of other things? …yes.

I loved studio 60 on the sunset strip…

I’m not a hater…

I didn’t read enough at all this year but I enjoyed ‘essay’s in love’ when I finally finished it…

prob kings on leon (I know I know I’m late with that one)… I was all over that album for reals…

my watch finally after all these years…

I’m totally out of the loop with movies I think I’ve maybe been to five all year… I really enjoyed across the universe and laughed all through what happens in vegas… idk

its okay to fall down sometimes… as long as you keep trying to get up… nothings going to be perfect all the time…
